I consider myself a fortunate man. I have always had a passion for team building, service to others, and finding solutions to complex problems. I joined the military when I was 19; I served over 25 years as both enlisted man and commissioned officer. My family moved to Denton County, Texas following my medical retirement from the U.S. Army. I’m always looking to improve myself and others around me.

I am confident that my experience in both the military, and in industry, will have a positive impact on the Denton County Tax Assessor/ Collector office, its employees, and its customers. I thrive on relationship building, process improvement, deep analysis, and asking the right questions. I have significant experience, and success, in both strategic and operational planning, coaching and teambuilding, modernization efforts, and improvement efforts. My top Clifton Strength’s are context, strategy, learning, activator, and winning others over.
